Anaconda BY:RUBY VASQUEZ

BASICS The anaconda is a common name for the largest south American snake of the boa family This is one of the largest and most powerful snakes in the world. They kill their prey by squeezing them until they die and then they eat them. Anacondas eat about 40 pounds a day. Anacondas are nocturnal. They are mainly found in the rivers of Brazil.

FAMILY

unique Something unique about an anaconda would have to be their jaws. They have loosely constructed skulls and jaws, with some bones held together by skin. This allows the snake to spread its jaw very wide.

HABITAT Anacondas live in wet tropical regions. Like rivers and lakes.

Hungry for… ANACONDAS ARE CARNIVORES SNAKES WICH MEANS THEY ONLY EAT MEAT.ANACONDAS CAN SWALLOW ANIMALS TWICE THEIR SIZE.FOR EXAMPLE PIGS, DEER, BIRDS,FISH, FROGS AND SMALLER SNAKES.THEY ARE BASICALLY ON TOP OF THE FOOD CHAIN.
