Entertainment ASL Segment 2 Final Project Connor DiMestico

Entertainment   Closed captioning has been a simple way for the deaf community to understand what it is being said on the television when they’re watching it. Many organizations have begun projects such as making television shows and movies that incorporate ASL. Other ways of making movies and theatrical plays an enjoyable experience is having interpreters signing by the individuals.

ASL Entertainment Organizations  Many organizations are coming together to help out deaf people and give them the opportunity to enjoy movies, tv, and music.  Some companies set up parties for deaf people  For example, the Universal Sign Entertainment are promoting their organization that consists of interpreters, ways to watch movies, and art for deaf people. Here’s their website. com

Opinion Towards Entertainment   I think that making entertainment entertaining for deaf people is very kind and important. They deserve to enjoy things just as much as hearing people do. I believe they should make it easier for deaf people to watch TV, or understand what someone is saying in a song or a movie.   I have this opinion because deaf people shouldn’t be treated differently because they have hearing loss. They need to be respect and deserve just as much as we do. Making sure they can be entertained is very important, because I know they have feelings too. They want to be able to enjoy entertainment, and their selves.
