SEM Committee  SEM Committee is a sub-Committee of both CER and NIAUR to which full authority for matters relating to the SEM have been delegated

SEM Committee  CER and NIAUR carry out the following activities on behalf of the SEM Committee Regulation of the Single Market Operator (SEMO) Market Monitoring (MMU) Oversight of the Trading and Settlement Code and its modifications process Market Monitoring  In addition many system operation, networks and other issues affecting the SEM come under the auspices of the SEM

Codes and Contracts  Trading and Settlement Code (TSC)  2 x Grid Codes with common sections – 3x Grid Code Review Panels  2 x Distribution Codes (NI in production)  System Operator Agreement (SOA), Market Operator Agreement (MOA)  NI did business separation for directive compliance as well as SEM implementation so huge changes to industry documents

Transmission Harmonisation  Connection policy (semi-shallow)  GTUoS 25% (DTUoS 75% recovered jurisdictionally from demand)  Transmission loss factors  Dispatch balancing costs  Ancillary services
