 Verse  Chorus  Bridge

 This is the part of the song that changes the lyrics but keeps the same melody.  Verses are used to tell most of the story in a song.

 This is the part of the song that is repeated after every verse.  Same words, same tune.  This part of the song defines the theme of the song.

 This is the part of the song that only happens once; neither words nor tune is repeated.  Usually comes right before the last verse, or sometimes just before the chorus repeats a lot.  Often changes direction of the song, gives new meaning to the chorus
