Students will be able to understand the people, events and ideologies of the Vietnam War Era in American History.

 What impact did the 60’s and early 70’s have on us today?

 What effect did the Civil Rights movement have on American Culture?  How can Protest lead to change?  Did the presidency lose its luster during this time?  What impact did the Vietnam War have on society?

 Who were the main players during the Vietnam War Era?  What were the main events that took place during the 60’s and early 70’s?  What was the Civil Rights Movement?  How did the counter culture shape American Culture?  What caused the Vietnam War?

Before project work beginsStudents work on projects and complete tasks After project work is completed  Students will attempt to fill out as much of the pre assessment graphic organizer as possible My Assessment Timeline Their will be a class discussion on their knowledge based on their graphic organizer Class discussion in small groups and as a class.
