Living and Non-Living Things 1 st Grade

Living Things  The tiger lives in the jungle and can make a loud growl.

Living Things  The lion is the king of the jungle. The other animals respect the lion. He also can roar very loud.

Living Things  Dogs love to cuddle and love on their family. Most of all, they love to bark when they get excited.

Living Things  Cats love to purr and rub on their owners leg. They can be very loving. You know this when you hear them purr.

Living Things  Elephants are really big and weigh a lot. When they make noise everyone can hear it.

Living Things  Trees are living things because they need sunlight and water to live. All living things must be fed and cared for.

Non-Living Things  A table is non-living. You do not have to feed it or water it.

Non-Living Things  All of these things are non-living.

Non-Living Things  Video games and television are fun and we enjoy them, but we do not have to feed or water them in order for them to exist.
