1. TET – Teacher Eligibility Test Teacher Eligibility Test known as TET is an Indian entrance examination for teachers. It is conducted by both Central government and State governments in India (most states conduct their own TET). TET – Teacher Eligibility Test Though there are minor changes in the eligibility state-wise, but the common aspects more or less remain: - Graduates (B.A, B.Sc., B.Com, B.Ed. etc.) are eligible to take the test - A candidate has to score over 60 per cent to clear the eligibility test (in certain states it is 45%, 50%, 55% as well) Eligibility for TET - The appropriate Government conducts a TET at least once every year (As noted, the months include Feb-Mar-Apr-May-Aug-Oct-Nov) - The validity Period of TET qualifying certificate for appointment will be decided by the appropriate Government subject to a maximum of seven years for all categories.
