Activities  are prepared with the collaboration of classroom teachers.  are integrated into “Life Science” Course.  are based on hands-on experiments  develop positive attitude towards science

3 TITLE : Air is Everywhere GRADE LEVEL : 2 nd grade Free programme in every two weeks ODTU Development Foundation School/ Science Teaching Project/ 16.10.2008 OBJECTIVES : Students, -realize that air occupies space -compare air with other matters -explore how to trap air in a container. -use ruler to measure height -compare and contrast measured quantities -use the terms “low” and “high”appropriately

5 ODTU Development Foundation School/ Science Teaching Project/ 16.10.2008 Draw the materials on the blackboard. Describe the materials. Tell the students that they can use all or some of the materials. How can you raise the level of water with air?

Students write a description of the method on a paper. Each group selects a member as a presenter. The presenter orally explains the method to the whole class.
