4 Licking (verb.) lick licked licked the act of lick, means like to move the tongue across of a surface in order to taste, clean, make wet, etc. 舔 (1) Ex. The dog licking the dish clean. 那狗把盤子舔乾淨了 To defeat in a game, race, fight, etc. 擊敗、戰勝 (2) (3)To take into the mouth with the tongue 舔食 Ex. The cat licking up the milk. 那貓舔光了牛奶

5 Obliged (adj.) (1)To do someone a favor 幫助 Ex. Could you oblige me by opening the door? 麻煩把那門打開好嗎? Oblige (verb.) Ex. I’m really obliged to you help. (1) Ones that feel grateful 感激的 *Synonym word* : grateful thankful
