Geelong levels of violence increased substantially from 2005-2012 Newcastle intervention had an immediate effect AT NO COST Now has 25% MORE licensed venues ( Small bars which shut at 2am) The Geelong interventions studied had no positive effect except consequence policing Possible improvements in solution of crime in Geelong AT SUBSTANTIAL COST
