2 Had problems with the church of England Pilgrims People who wanted to separate from the church of England. Most Pilgrims settled in Plymouth. Came over on the Mayflower. Puritans Wanted to restart and purify the church or England. Settled in Jamestown Virginia. Theocracy : A state under the immediate guidance of God.

3 Changed stories so they make more sense for their listeners. Could change stories to make them more interesting. Pros The original, historical stories of the past could change. The story tellers could totally change the story, and it would then be lost. Cons
