8 State Accreditation Measures achievement levels in English (Reading and Writing SOLs combined), mathematics, history, and science. Only accounts for the “All Student” pass rates in each of the four academic areas. Accreditation benchmarks were elevated this year in grades 6-12 English (+5%), grade 3 History (+20%), and grade 3 Science (+20%) Department of Accountability: “Anyone can measure the rain; we build arks.” 8
