1 Critique questions (based on your success criteria) 1.How has the position of the picture helped make it interesting or informative? 2.Use of colours: are they relevant? Do they match? 3.Size and decision on font: how have they used this to help get the information across in an interesting way? 4.What are the 5 main informative points that stand out? How? 5.One suggestion: about any element of the design. Be KIND, SPECIFIC, HELPFUL!

4 Reading comprehension Level 3: Highlight and label one argument FOR and one AGAINST apologising. Level 4: Find 3 other sources that the newspaper quote in their article. Level 5: Find 2 words that emphasise the argument that apologising is a useless gesture. Level 6: Highlight where the article discusses that an apology is just the first step. Who does it quote? Level 7: Highlight where the article states what an apology could lead to and why it is really important. Who does it quote?

5 Discussion What are the main points to come out of this article? Do you agree with any one point more strongly than another? What has persuaded you the most? Have you changed your mind? By how much? Which words or phrases made the most impact on you?

7 Summary statement Write a paragraph summarising your thoughts about Bristol apologising AT THIS MOMENT IN TIME. It may change and that's ok!
