2 Page 2 Requirements for Basic License 6 Points of Identification Vision Test: Minimum of 20/50 Vision Knowledge Test: –Consists of 50 Questions –Minimum of 80% or better

3 Page 3 Out of State or Out of Country Applicants Out of state17 and 18 year olds will be given a probationary license for a period of 1 year Out of country applicants must pass knowledge test and vision screening and may be required to pass a road test.

4 Page 4 Road Test Must have a minimum of 6 months supervised practice prior to road test appointment!

5 Page 5 Test Vehicle Requirements Valid Inspection Sticker Valid Registration Valid Insurance ID Card No obstructions that would prevent the examiner from reaching the foot brake or parking brake.

8 Page 8 Reasons for Road Test Rejection Improper or expired inspection sticker Lack of Examiner Access to the Brake Poor Brakes, Unsafe Tires, Unclean interior, vehicle failed inspection, fast engine idle or cannot judge speed control, missing seat belts.
