2 What is ACHE and MCACHE ACHE – American College of Healthcare Executives, the premier professional organization for healthcare executives. MCACHE – Midwest Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives is the local chapter of the ACHE. MCACHE serves healthcare executives in Southeast Michigan and Northwest Ohio. What is ACHE and MCACHE?

Knowledge  Annually the ACHE provides over 100 educational offerings such as the Congress on Healthcare Leadership, distance/local learning courses, and in-depth Cluster programs.  Each year MCACHE on average holds 20 events with an opportunity to network with over 2,000 attendees for a total of 5,000 participant hours.  MCACHE also provides at least 12 face to face credits and sponsors one ACHE on-location program where members can earn an additional 12 credits; totaling 24 each year.  As a member, you receive subscriptions to Healthcare Executive AND either the Journal of Healthcare Management or Frontiers of Health Services Management. Career Development  Ensure your employability with ACHE's Resume Review, career planning tools, and access to our members only site for job seekers.  Demonstrate your professional commitment and competence by obtaining the FACHE credential. 11 MCACHE Leadership Applying  It’s easy! Apply online (www.ache.org) or fill out the registration form (available here today) and pay annual ACHE dues  When you join the ACHE you automatically become a member of MCACHE Qualifications  Member — If you have a minimum of a bachelor's degree and a commitment to the profession of healthcare management, then you are invited to join ACHE as a member.  Annual dues are:  $75 student associate rate  $150 per year for the first two years  $250 per year for years three through five  $325 per year after five years  Retired Status — Retired status is available to current Members and Fellows who are retired. Retired status allows for continuation of all rights and privileges of ACHE membership (except serving as an elected official) at a reduced rate of $75 annually How to become a member
