3. Example study - what are your thoughts? How do the nervous and muscular systems work together? –M–Make a numbered list of your ideas. –W–We will work together to design an experiment to find out.

4. Hypothesis Based on your knowledge of the nervous and muscular systems, create a hypothesis. Does the sensory information brought by the nervous system to the brain affect the response by the muscular system?

5. Design an experiment Goal: remove “input” to the brain Determine if it affects the muscles. How do you accomplish this? –M–Make a list of your ideas.

6. Presumptions Assumption must be made that the subject CAN solve the Rubric’s cube with his/her eyes open!!!

7. Materials Needed 1.Subjects who are able to solve the Rubik’s cube with their eyes open! 2.Rubik’s cube 3.Stop watch 4.Data sheet 5.Pencil 6.Blindfold

8. Procedure Brainstorm the steps you could follow to conduct this experiment. At first, just list things you know need to be done. –Leave room to the left of your idea to add a number (ordering the way the steps are done) –Discuss your ideas with your assigned partner. Two heads are better than one!
