4 Traditional Food In England there is a place called Yorkshire, in Yorkshire they sometimes eat Yorkshire puddings. YUM. We sell them here in New Zealand too. My mum loves Jaffa cakes, but I hate them! On the top it has dark chocolate with orange jaffa and a sponge basse. 5 Traditional festival Mayday is an English festival, it is to celebrate the beginning of Spring. It stats on April the 30 th at sunset. It involves all the children from the primary school. Everyone wears the colour white, and carries garlands of flowers. The girls wear straw bands, ribbon in their hair, and carry posies. Then they lay the posies down in the church below the Rood screen. Next the children dance around the may pole, have a feast then go back to school.

6 Sport England is pretty keen on soccer! There are so many soccer teams I don’t know which is their famous team! There’s Manchester United, Arsenal, Aston Villa, Brimingham, Blackburn Rovers, Blackpool, Everton, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and more! England have won the world cup for soccer once in 1966. The team who won it was a mixture of the top players in England. They called themselves the English team.

7 Population location The population for England is about England is located in the Northern 51,446,000! That's only Part of the Hemisphere. It is between the Irish United Kingdom! And North sea.

8 English Money For money England uses pounds and pence. On the front or back of the 20 pound note is Adam Smith. 9 English Bulldogs English Bulldogs usually live for 8-12 years and have a wrinkled body, ( I think it makes them look adorable). Bulldogs are wonderful pets although others use them for dog fighting which is illegal.
