2. EVAPORATION Evaporation is when the particles in a liquid heat up, they became less dense and have more energy. This means the lighter energy particle will either turn to gas or a fine mist meaning the hot(higher energy, less dense) particles are “bounced” off the surface of the liquid and are sometimes lost to the wind. Lower energy particles don’t bounce as high and therefore are not picked up by the wind and return to the liquid. It is exciting.
