Traveling to Venice, Italy By: Ryan Maccagnan

Cost of plane tickets: $792.06 Date of departure: April 1 st 2015 Typical vaccinations needed to live in Italy are measles-mumps-rubella vaccine, tetanus- diphtheria vaccine, and influenza vaccine. You can get a passport book in Philadelphia, PA for a total of $135. Italy’s currency is the euro and its exchange rate is 1 U.S. dollar to.73 euros. $2,000 is worth 1,467.67 euros. Getting to Venice

The apartment I found is not far from Venice, Italy in Marghera, and costs 653 euros per month. I chose this apartment because it is relatively close to Venice, and there are many shops/ malls in big cities and is a safe neighborhood. This is also within budget. Living in Venice

Getting Around Town I can get to Venice by tram or bike, and then in the city, I can walk. A tram ticket costs about 1,30 euros.

Playing in Venice One thing I can do to be entertained there is take a ride on a gondola. One of the best places to eat is Al Covo. A good place to shop is Fendi. Some places to see are Piazza San Marco, Doqe’s Palace, and Rialto Bridge. Another place for entertainment is at the Torrefazione Marchi.
