Because.... (5b) The word... makes us think/feel.... Because.... (5a) I think the poet did this to.... (6c) “Mister they called Hey Mister” This shows that they are mocking him because they are calling out to him repeatedly. The word “mister” makes us think they are mocking him because it is usually a term of respect but a tramp doesn’t usually get given respect. I think the poet did this to show that children don’t understand what it is like to be different.
