22 BBA Semester - IIIH.R.M & OB MM: Behaviorally Anchored Rating Scales (BARS) Rating scales are created using the following approach – –Identify Critical Incidents –Select Performance Dimensions –Retranslate Incidents –Assign Scale Values Rate the employee on the scale 21
