1. The Russells spent a hot day walking through the Royal Gardens of Melbourne, not far from the city center.

16. Pitcher plants await flies that seek their syrup deep in the plant. The insects are then prevented from crawling out by small barbs—and soon drown.

17. Delicate orange flowers splay out in the humid air.

18. Hawaii has many of these same plants— gorgeous!
