2. Fel y gwelwch yn y llun uchod, roedd waliau yn Nhre’r Ceiri wedi syrthio dros y llwybrau. Fel canlyniad, roedd ymwelwyr yn cerdded dros y waliau cerrig ac yn achosi mwy o ddifrod. As seen in the picture above, the walls of Tre’r Ceiri had collapsed blocking pathways. As a result, visitors were walking over the stone walls causing further damage. 7. Roedd creon yn cael ei ddefnyddio i farcio cerrig oedd angen cael eu symud er mwyn eu dychwelyd i’r man cywir. Crayon was used to mark stones that needed moving so that they could be returned to the correct location.

An artefact discovered during conservation work was a broken Roman pot, buried in the wall of the main entrance. The pot was below a newer section of wall so we can conclude that this wall was built after the Roman’s had settled in the area.
