1 Task Card Templates Choose one slide below each week to create a task card for a Tech Tub station. Make sure to fill in the “Notes” below the task card with your information. Follow the directions below to complete this station activity. This task uses: Common Core State Standards What’s the Meaning in the Text? Objective: Students will explain the meaning of a quote The Scarlet Ibis and provide evidence-based text to explain the meaning behind the quote. Pixntell SL8.5 Integrate multimedia and visual displays into presentations to clarify information, strengthen claims and evidence, and add interest. 1.Open the app and select. 2.Add pictures by selecting on the upper right hand side of the screen. 3.Create annotations by selecting and adding any mark-ups you find necessary. 4.Select to move forward. 5.Record your explanation by pressing in the lower left hand side. You may pause as needed while recording. 6.Select the save button ( ) in the lower right hand side to move forward. 7.Your final presentation must be at least one and a half minutes in length. How does this enhance the tone of the text? How might the tone further enhance the theme of the text? Provide at least 5 specific examples from the text. 3.Add pictures of the text by selecting on the upper right hand side of the screen. 4.Create annotations by selecting and adding any mark-ups you find necessary. 5.Select to move forward. 6.Record your explanation by pressing in the lower left hand side.
