1. Fiber routing test Marc & Qian (We did not glue in any fibers and only used tape for temporary purpose. We routed four fibers.)

2. First we checked the fiber to be sure it’s clean.

3. Next, we inserted the fiber into the special tool made by IHEP.

4. Inserting the fiber into the inner layer is challenging, but we know how to do it now.

5. Fibers from the inner layer come out to the outer layer and become paired. These paired fibers will then get married to the thick differential PMT cables.

6. When we came back to the TOF lab from the detector hall, the two USTC students, Steve and Jeff, let us to know that the time resolution of the laser signal is 20 ps without performing any calibration. The DAQ is working great. This was really exciting way to end our working day today!!!!!!
