4 Help is available Thousands of Tasmanians are already getting help 23 literacy coordinators in LINCs and Libraries More than 650 volunteers across the state Many different programs and services are available 3 adult literacy support officers across the state Over 100 specialist teachers and trainers across the state

5 What can you do? Talk openly about the importance of literacy Become a 26TEN member Read to your children Train your staff to help people with literacy needs Promote the use of Plain English Encourage people you know to seek help to improve their skills Become a 26TEN volunteer
