MCAT The Medical College Admission Test is a standardized, computerized multiple-choice exam designed to help medical schools assess your: –Mastery of basic concepts in biology, chemistry, and physics –Facility with problem solving and critical thinking –Communication and writing skills It is administered 22 times a year spread across the months of January, April-September http://www.aamc.org/students/mcat/

OAT The Optometry Admission Test is a standardized, exam designed to measure general academic ability and comprehension of scientific information The OAT consists of four tests: –Survey of the Natural Sciences (Biology, General Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry) – Reading Comprehension –Physics –Quantitative Reasoning http://www.opted.org

12. OAT The exam is computerized and examinees are allowed to take the OAT an unlimited number of times but must wait at least 90 days between testing dates Only the scores from the four most recent attempts and the total number of attempts will be reported
