2 Believe Verb: to be persuaded, therefore to place one’s confidence and trust, signifies reliance upon and not mere credence Because we believe, we put our confidence and trust in Jesus, unquestionably relying on Him!

3 Believe Jesus is the Son of Man Jn. 8:24, 28 believe, Son of Man Dan. 7:13-14 dominion, eternal kingdom, all people serve Him Because we believe, we serve Jesus!

4 Believe: Continue in Jesus’ Word Jn. 8:31-32 believe, continue in word 2 Th. 1:8; 2 Th. 2:10-12 obey gospel, love truth, believe truth Because we believe, we continue in Jesus’ word! Result: disciple, know truth, set free.

5 Believe in His Name Jn. 3:16, 18 believe in Jesus / name Jn. 1:12-13 receive as authority, born again Because we believe, we respect Jesus’ authority! Result: born again – water and Spirit.

6 Believe: Obey Jesus Heb. 5:9 Jesus, salvation, obey Jn. 3:14-16 bronze serpent, obedience Because we believe, we obey, follow God fully! Jn. 3:36 believe, saved / not obey, lost Jn. 6:29 believe, work of God Jude 1:5; Num. 14:24 follow God fully
