4 Objective A specific statement about the job you are seeking.

5 Education Schools attended, dates, GPA if 3.0 or better, and field of study List the most recent school first. (list only high school and college)

6 Relevant Coursework List classes that are relevant to the specific job for which you are applying.

7 Skills/ Qualifications What you expect to bring to and learn from the school, program

8 Experience A listing of jobs held Job Title Names and addresses of employers Dates Brief but specific descriptions of job duties and/or responsibilities. List the most recent job first (Reverse Chronological Order!) List both paid and volunteer positions.

9 Activities Membership in Clubs, including Honor Society Teams Music groups Youth Groups Other community organizations

10 Achievements Make sure to list any honors earned here – Student of the Month; Most Inspirational Athlete award... Leadership positions on teams Team Championships Awards for music, academics…

11 References Your references are listed on a separate page that goes with your resume including: 3 different people, not related to you. Name, Title, Company Name & Address, Phone number, Email. Always send a copy of your resume to your reference people and update them with new achievements and jobs you are applying for.
