3. 3 Location Records Mandate The Location Records group responds to BC 1 Call requests for locate information as per the standards and regulations. They ensure accuracy and legibility of information and ensure clients understand and acknowledge safety information.

4. 4 What is Ticket Processing? Review the dig area designated by the ticket to establish if there are any gas mains or services that may be impacted Provide a map of the specified area –Showing the location of mains or services –Showing the absence of mains or services Provide relevant sketches if they exist Communicate safety related dig information Send information to excavator within 2-day time limit

6. 6 Terasen Locate Policy On-site or physical locates shall be provided when: –Records are inadequate, unclear or not available –There is an emergency repair of another utility in progress –Excavator has been unsuccessful in hand-locating our main or service or gas installation is not where Terasen records indicate –Planned excavation is within 10m of an IP main or service –Planned excavation is within 30m of the edge of TP pipeline or Right of Way (ROW) –Ticket is placed by the Ministry of Highways and its’ contractors
