JRA1 Activities Administrative issues –Financial accounting system established at DESY Based on SAP, traces all WP`s in JRA Based on EXEL, traces all cost categories within WP First temporary manpower hired First consumables ordered –Agreement with associates (Network) formulated Will be send out for signature ASAP ( transfer of travel money for coming ELAN meeting must be organized now), 1.3K€ per FTE per first 18 month (linear scaling) –CARE meeting at DESY (Nov.04) is confirmed

2. JRA1 Activities, cont. Several Meetings were organized –Briefing for DESY participants at Dec.03 –JRA1 Kick off meeting held during TESLA meeting at Zeuten (Jan.04) General information given by D.Proch and H.Mais 10 WP`s were presented by WP or task leaders –JRA1 sub meeting at Saclay/Orsay (Feb.04) With special emphasis on coordination between Saclay/Orsay work

3. JRA1 Meetings, cont. Specialized WP meetings –At INFN Legnaro (Feb.04) –WP 8 at DESY (Feb.04) Emphasis on coordination of joined effort within WP8 ( DESY, INFN Milano, WUT, Saclay/Orsay)

4. Status JRA1 All WP or Task leaders are aware of the work and milestones mentioned in MS project!!! Work started as promised, no delay is visible at the moment Communication between collaborating partners has started

JRA1 Web-page is opened –Http://JRA-SRF.DESY.deHttp://JRA-SRF.DESY.de –Contains EU documents ( proposal, Annex1, consortium agreement, MS Project plans,…) –Shows viewgraphs of first meetings –Will display all JRA1 (and CARE) relevant information (meetings, reports, announcements,…)
