3. 3 HLM resolution toward the concept – draft* (1)  The commonly agreed definitions:  Concept of the technical parameters; status as provided in Consentec document »Concept of the Technical Parameters Calculation for the Flow Based Capacity Allocation in the CEE Region«, dated 21 Dec., 2007.  The Concept; as to be implemented in CAO, it comprises all technical parameters (AMF, PTDF, FRM, BFRM…) needed for FBA, allocation and curtailment methodologies, scheduling etc. *Ad hoc High Level Meeting 7.4.2008

4. 4 HLM resolution toward the concept - draft (2)  The roadmap for the Concept implementation is a step-by-step one, consisting of a chain of HLM approvals that refer to WG proposals, prepared on the base of the Consentec final Work Package reports. The final step for the Concept is a confirmation by HLM which is to be done before functional application. The IT implementation roadmap could be asynchronous to the Concept step-by-step implementation because of different deadlines where IT Function Specification has to be approved before contracting the IT vendor.

5. 5  State of work within WG FBA (1) WP 1  Main phase with the data gathering process started on 1.4.2008 and will be finished today, 9.5.2008  Preliminary results from calculations raised some issues regarding long-term allocations. Solutions are under investigation and discussion  Open Issues to be clarified hopefully by the deadline of WP1

6. 6 State of work within WG FBA (2) State of work within WG FBA (2)  Curtailment considered as an integrated part of the FBA concept  One of modules of WP 3 will include curtailment evaluation  First resolutions by WG FBA on Concept possible during the meeting on 8.7. after receiving final report on WP 1&2 from Consentec (end of June)  Most possibly the recommendation for the Concept confirmation will be given after evaluation of tests’ results where influences of all agreed and not agreed issues could be ascertained.  Risk of WG FBA failing to answer open questions in time
