Differential diagnosis of many speech disorders is complex and multi- multidimensional Typically, diagnosis is established subjectively and with unknown reliability and validity Behavioral factors that determine diagnosis can be measured effectively, but procedures are not practical in clinical settings. Acoustic measures Auditory-perceptual ratings Clinicians have limited access to expert resources and second opinion
