You can also download a program to your computer that will sync select folders with your online Google Drive account 3. It allows you to share your documents back and forth. 4. Here is a video that breaks down the basics of how using Google Docs is better than emailing attachments.

14 Where do shared files go? When a file is shared with you, you will usually get an e-mail with a link to the file (unless the owner choose not to send one) To get the document you need to click on the “Shared with me” folder on the left side of your Drive (once you locate the file you can move it to a more convenient folder if you want)

Students submit any written assignment (essay, lab report, hw) as a Google Doc The teacher can add comments and grade it Students automatically see the comments and the grade How can you use it Docs in your classroom? Use a script called Doctopus to help your organization
