2 Electronic Bidding  Legislation allowing Electronic Bidding is passed in 2001.  August 2001: Contractor Training = 52 Companies are trained.  November 2001: 2 nd Training Session =22 Companies are trained.  January 2002: Mn/DOT receives first E-bids.  Currently 76 Companies have been trained and bids have been received from 60 different companies.

9 Electronic Bid Submittal “2004”  72% of all bids received are submitted electronically.  The dollar value of the electronically submitted bids equals 90% of all bids received.  All bids over 4 million dollars have been submitted electronically.

10 Electronic Bidding  Electronic bid system (3 rd party website, bid bond function and bid retrieval console) has been operational 100% of the time.  All electronic bids have been received and there have been no errors.  Mn/DOT has saved money: 1.
