Current Status and Problems Background informations are not currently visible from the Marking Plan (maintenance of signs: clearing, painting, replacement of the lamps, and other activities) Installation and maintenance costs of the marking system (total and per sign) now could be easily extracted from the application.

15. Questions rather than conclusions Test period before making serious conclusions is necessary?! Is it applicable to the Danube? Is it applicable to other facilities for navigation safety (gauging stations, bridges, winter ports, river training structures)? Does development of this and similar web applications contribute to the improvement of navigation conditions?
