Chapter 11 ~ Lesson 1 Jesus prepare his disciples for all that is to come.  The disciples, especially his Apostle Simon who was also called Peter, told Jesus that they believed he was the Messiah.  Jesus knew that people would not understand him and would oppose him.  He knew that he would have to suffer and die to save us.  Jesus warned his disciples that his suffering and death were coming. He promised them that he would rise on the 3 rd day.  Jesus was God’s food that they needed for eternal life.  At the Last Supper Jesus gave his disciples a special way that they would remember
