1 Worshipping with our wallet 1 Corinthians 10:31 – So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. Proverbs 3:9-10 - Honor the L ORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine. Deuteronomy 26:10 – And now I bring the firstfruits of the soil that you, O LORD, have given me." Place the basket before the LORD your God and bow down before him."

2 Giving extravagantly as worship 1 Chronicles 29:2-5 –With all my resources I have provided for the temple of my God—gold … silver for the silver, … all kinds of fine stone and marble—all of these in large quantities. 3 Besides, in my devotion to the temple of my God I now give my personal treasures of gold and silver for the temple of my God, over and above everything I have provided for this holy temple: 4 three thousand talents of gold and seven thousand talents of refined silver… for all the work to be done by the craftsmen. Now, who is willing to consecrate themselves to the L ORD today?” 3000 talents = 112 tons (a talent is 75 lbs.) = $4.28 billion now

3 Giving in gratitude for God’s grace (2 Corinthians 8:1-4)"And now, brothers, we want you to know about the grace that God has given the Macedonian churches. {2} Out of the most severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity. {3} For I testify that they gave as much as they were able, and even beyond their ability. Entirely on their own, {4} they urgently pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing in this service to the saints.“ (2 Corinthians 8:8) “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich." (2 Corinthians 8:9)
