2. T HE I P AD So what is the iPad? The iPad is a like the combination of a laptop and a iPod touch. If you really think about it, it looks just like a big iPod touch. It has the functions of both these things. +=

3. I P AD How may the iPad change the classroom in the next few years? To start out with, you can take notes in it with its on- screen keyboard. This means no more paper, no more pencils or pens. No paper. No killed trees. (Yay!!) =) You also have internet access. So that’s really cool. There’s also the ability to buy eBooks, in this case textbooks. You get to read them in the iPad and there way cheaper, so the school doesn’t have to waste that much money on textbooks.

4. A WESOME ! So think about it… In about 10 years or so… with the iPad… No notebooks. No pencils or pens. No computers. No textbooks.

5. S MARTPHONES What is a Smartphone? A Smartphone is a phone but it’s really smart. The Smartphones contain some functions like those of a computer and of course those of a phone. It has internet access just like a computer.

6. S MARTPHONES #2 How may a Smartphone change the classroom? With smartphones, you have the ability to take notes on it and things like that. If the teacher has one as well, you can text her the answers or comments and things of the sort. You also have the ability to interact in within the classroom with the rest of the students. In an appropriate way, ask each other for help and things like that. The Smartphone will also reduce the use of paper and pencils.

7. N EW W ORLD O F E DUCATION Imagine your classroom with the iPad and smartphones. Everything will be really cool and better. No heavy laptops, no paper, no pencils, no pens, nothing but technology.
