1 Winter Storm 2/13/07 By: Devin Michalewicz!

2 <<(little girl/ model is Clair Michalewicz) In the picture below there was really no snowfall. There was some left over snow but that is it. Since the time the picture was taken to this day 2/13/07 there hasn’t been any snowfall.

3 Tonight: there is a slight chance of snow. Then a lot of snow after midnight, accumulation of 1 to 3 inches. Lows 5 to 10 above. Northeast winds are going at about 10 miles per hour. The chance of snow near 100 percent. Conditions rite now at 7:30pm: Temp: 10 degrees. Wind speed. 5 miles per hour going south

4 <I am using this candy cane to measure the amount of snowfall every three hours. That was the amount of snow at 9am and we had 3 inches of snow. >That is the regular size of the candy cane. Conditions at 9:00 am: Temp: 10 degrees Wind speed: winds are going East at 12 miles per hour. WARNINGS!: A blizzard warning is in effect until 5:00 pm on Thursday. There is a winter storm warning in effect until late tonight, this storm is bringing very heavy amounts of snow.

5 <WOW! There is allot more snow now! Look at the candy cane compared to last time! Since I last went out at nine there has been some sleet! (ugh!) Conditions: Temp:12 degrees Wind speed: North East at 12 miles per hour and gusts at 18 miles per hour. Snow can be heavy at times. The visibility is near 0 percent at times in the blowing and drifting snow. There is a chance of thunderstorms and sleet. Accumulation of 12 to 18 inches. Highs around 20,gusts of wind can go up to 20 miles per hour.

7 <Ok so at 3:00PM I took my brother out side and the wind could of blown him down! In that picture he is sitting in a “snow bank” more like the regular snow. Conditions: Temp: 16 degrees Wind speed: winds are going north east at 28 MPH and gusts are going 38 MPH Wind chill:-3 Other: it is still over cast, but it is now windy! < the candy cane is almost buried all the way! Ugh!

9 Conditions: Temps:21 degrees. Wind speed: the wind speed has decreased by 16 MPH. The winds are still blowing north east at 12 MPH and gust have also decreased by 12 MPH, the gusts are now going at 22 MPH. Wind chill: 9 degrees. Other: it is still over cast. < WOW! The snow has really came! I thought that we would never see snow this winter. Well we did! The candy cane is close to covered. Warnings!: there are a couple of warnings still in effect, Blizzard warning, hazardous weather outlook, and a winter storm warning. The blizzard warning is in effect until Thursday at 5am.
