3 What did Bootleggers do?
Bootleggers smuggled alcohol and liquor into the U.S. from other countries. This was highly illegal during the 1920’s throughout the prohibition. The Eighteenth Amendment brought along the prohibition of alcohol from This caused smugglers to smuggle foreign made commercial liquor.

4 What places are associated with Bootlegging?
Concealed distilleries and breweries through storage and transport channels to speakeasies, restaurants, nightclubs, and other retail outlets. Bootleggers were supplied alcohol from:  Bahamas, Cuba, and the French islands of St. Pierre and Miquelon, off the southern coast of Newfoundland.

5 Why did Bootlegging exist?
Bootlegging existed because the U.S. prohibited the legal sale of liquor, therefore illegal trafficking was necessary for the illegal use of alcohol. Bootleggers trafficked commercial alcohol from other countries into the U.S.
