3 Definition: able to predict problems foresight (noun) Example: People concerned with earth’s environment have the foresight to look for new sources of energy now.

4 Definition: to make something known to the public. publicize (verb) Example: Kathy placed posters all over the school to publicize the club’s activity.

5 distraction (noun) Example: Definition: something that takes your attention and focus away from what you are trying to do. The sound of the TV was a distraction to Suki as she studied.

6 testimony (noun) Example: Definition: to provide evidence, usually in a courtroom. She appeared in court to give testimony as to her cousin’s whereabouts on that specific night.

7 Definition: twisted or bent in ways out of the ordinary. contortions (noun) Example: The circus acrobat impressed the crowd with his seemingly impossible contortions.

8 Definition: faint (adjective) The artist put such faint strokes of pink the painting of the sunset that most people aren’t aware of them. * 1. not noticeable or not bright 2. weak and dizzy or passed out. Example:
