14 Quick History Founded in 1989 Founded by Dean Kamen, the inventor of the Segway FLL was founded in 1998

15 FIRST Lego League Uses Legos to teach kids about robotics The Challenge Robot Game – Kids design and program their own robot to complete a task, what you will be doing Project – Kids prepare a presentation that focuses on one aspect of the Robot Game that carries over into the real world

16 Your Challenge Your mission: Move your robot to a pickup area Dump the Lego pieces into you robot Return them to the base safely Teams will be scored based on the number of pieces returned
