1 Brother Who is the speaker in the poem? How does the speaker feel about the little brother? If you were the speaker in this poem, how might the poem be different? A poem’s tone can be happy, funny, thoughtful, or sad. What is the tone of this poem: Why do you think this way?

2 Question of the Day Day 1 : If you could put three gifts in a box for a new baby brother, what would they be? Explain why you would include each gift. Day 2 : If you had a choice, would you rather be the oldest child, the youngest child, or a middle child? Why? Day 3 : What do you think doctors should put in hospital waiting rooms to help children pass the time? (Remember: hospitals should be quiet!)
