SARAPIQUI White Water Rafting class 2 and 3, this tour leaves at the Hacienda's put-in and runs 13 Km. to Chilamate, with an average gradient of 1.2% it can be run year round, and no previous experience is required safe with several accesses throughout the tour and constant communication with the base. The 2 hour tour trough the hacienda, starts at the stalls, were you will be given your equipment. An adequate horse will be assign to you according to your experience and ability. 6. POAS VOLCANO & DOKA ESTATE Like the other volcanoes in the Central Volcanic Cordillera, the silhouette of Poás Volcano gives no hint of the power and pent-up fury below the surface. With a diameter of 1.5 km., the active crater is reportedly the widest of any volcano in the world. If it is clear enough to see to the bottom of the 300-meter deep crater. Then continue to the Doka Estate Coffee, located in the coffee capital of Costa Rica, Alajuela. 8. COSTA RICA SKY ADVENTURES Your tour will start riding an open-air gondola from the ground to the heights where you’ll be dropped off at an observation area for fantastic views. From this area, you will start riding down on a zip line track stretching across canyons and in between treetops, the exhilarating adventure of zip lining down the mountainside begins. Sky Walk uses trails and a series of suspension bridges for a more relaxing introduction of the flora and fauna of the forest canopy. It allows a vision of the forest from a different perspective which starts with a hike on the ground and then taking you to explore the treetops. 14. SAN JOSÉ : VINO MUNDO You will be blown away by the beauty, layout, valley view, and Wine list at Vino Mundo in the mountains of Ciudad Colón. As you pull up the hill it is very apparent you have arrived at a magical place. Huge iron gates and guards welcome you, it is reminiscent of a medieval castle, though very modern at the same time. Once you enter Vino Mundo, you walk past a Wine cellar/tasting room of epic proportions and the rest of the restaurant is spread out beside a fire place and patio with an amazing view.
