2 The History  In the 19 th century advertising photography was rarely used. Advertising photography became more popular in the 20 th century.  After World War I the advertising industry industrialized greatly and photographic advertising was used all around.  During that time different styles of photography were born  The Clarence H. White School of Photography opened specifically for commercial photographers.

3 Who Uses It?  Companies  Schools  Movies  Sports  Stores  Brands  Websites  Etc.

4 Why Do We Want To Buy Their Products?  Most advertising photos are taken and edited to please the viewer and lure them into buying their product.  Models and famous actors are used a lot in advertising photos.  Many photos are taken in a way that can relate to you and your everyday life

5 What do they do?  Most advertising photos have their product taken a picture of with a very simplistic background, or their product in use.
