11 You will find most county sites have a dedicated location where they posted links to records pertaining to that county.

12 Many counties also have histories of county. You might also have histories of towns.

16 USGenWeb Archives Project – This project is setup by state, then by county for all 50 states. – Some of the records you can find in the archives are. Military Records – world war 1 draft registration Cemetery Records Directories – Each state has different records in the archives.

17 USGenWeb Tombstone Project – This project is broken down three ways States each state is listed, and each state lists each county. Military Cemeteries Foreign cemeteries – This list foreign cemeteries with American buried in them.

18 Searching the Archives – You can search the archives in three ways. First search in the special collections. Second search the special project site by state. Third is the national archives.

19 Research Suggestion – Look around each site you visit to see what they have. – If you find a link that doesn’t work please let the coordinator know. – Always remember to write down where you have been.
