3 Signamax Warranty The Signamax Cabling System is to be registered to be issued one of the extended warranties mentioned below for the period of 10, 15 or 25 years: –Signamax Base Trunk Warranty –Signamax Extended Component Warranty –Signamax Cabling System Warranty

4 CABLING SYSTEM REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

5 Installation Registration To register the Signamax Cabling System, an authorized installer company has to execute the set of documents to be further submitted to Signamax Connectivity Systems. The set of required documents shall depend on the certain warranty type.

6 Installation Registration  1 To perform the warranty registration of the Signamax Cabling System, the installer company shall have a relevant status and at least one certified specialist among its personnel with valid Signamax license.  2 To perform the warranty registration of the Signamax Cabling System, any requirements of section “CABLING SYSTEM REGISTRATION” of the Manual shall be met.

7 Installation Registration Submitted documentation shall be considered by Signamax Connectivity Systems specialists, responsible for the cabling system registration and, pursuant to the inspection results a decision on the cabling system warranty registration is to be made.

8 PERIOD OF REGISTRATION

9 Period of Registration The warranty for the Signamax Cabling System shall be effective since the completion date of installation works. The completion date of installation works shall be specified in the application form submitted for the cabling system warranty registration. There is a possibility of partial certification of large objects commissioned in turns.

10 Registration Time Frame  3 On installation works completion, the installer company shall perform certification testing (if required by the warranty terms) within one month’s period of the installed cabling system and correct any faults detected, and within another month shall execute the registration information to be further submitted to Signamax Connectivity Systems. continued on next slide

11 Registration Time Frame  3 Signamax Connectivity Systems undertakes to perform the document verification and certificate issuance within 30 days after the date of receipt of the warranty application, if there are no objections to the scope, contents and execution of the registration documentation. Any terms different from the aforementioned are subject to Signamax Connectivity Systems approval before the submission of the registration documentation.

12 CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES

13 Certificates and Licenses Long-term warranties are provided by Signamax Connectivity Systems only for the Signamax Cabling System installed by the installer companies with the status of Signamax Authorized Installer. The company status shall be confirmed by availability of the specialists specially trained by Signamax Connectivity Systems and having valid certificates (licenses).

14 Certificates and Licenses  4 Installation of the Signamax Cabling System shall be performed at the direct participation or under control of one Certified Signamax Installer as a minimum.

15 ROUTINE AND NONROUTINE SOLUTIONS

16 Routine/Nonroutine Solutions Design and installation of the Signamax Cabling System shall be performed in compliance with the rules, methods, instructions and conditions contained within this Manual and based on standards of the universal cabling systems. Only in this case the cabling system may be considered a “routine solution” with execution of long-term warranties by Signamax Connectivity Systems. The warranties of Signamax Connectivity Systems may also provide full or limited coverage for the cabling systems having failed to comply with the rules of this Manual due to certain reasons. Such solutions shall be considered “nonroutine.”

17 Routine/Nonroutine Solutions  5 Any nonroutine solutions planned for usage in the Signamax Cabling System design and installation shall be agreed with and approved by Signamax Connectivity Systems prior to the installation.

18 Routine/Nonroutine Solutions For the “nonroutine solution” approval the installer company shall mail, fax or e-mail (at warranty@signamax.com) to Signamax Connectivity Systems an application form to obtain permission for the use of nonroutine solution and explaining documents, such as diagrams, drawings, descriptions, etc.warranty@signamax.com The application shall be reviewed by Signamax Connectivity Systems specialists, responsible for the cabling system registration, and pursuant to the analysis of the documents supplied a conclusion will be issued on possibility or impossibility of such solution implementation in the Signamax Cabling System and extension of the warranty coverage.

19 SIGNAMAX CABLING SYSTEM COMPONENTS

20 Components The Signamax Cabling System shall be based on Signamax brand certified components, permitted for the use in warranted cabling systems. The list of permitted components is given in the Signamax Cabling System Approved Component Schedule. This list shall be periodically updated. The latest version may be downloaded from the web site of Signamax Connectivity Systems at www.signamax.com or obtained by e-mail, having sent a request at: warranty@signamax.com.www.signamax.com warranty@signamax.com

21 Components If the cabling system may not be constructed based on the components specified in the list of Signamax certified components due to any reasons, Signamax Connectivity Systems may consider the options for the use of components not included in the list. Such solutions shall be considered as “nonroutine” and subject to approval before the installation by submission of the application form for permit of the nonroutine solution implementation (Warranty Registration Form #1).

22 Components  6 Any components not included in the lists of permitted for the use in the Signamax Cabling System, planned for use in the Signamax Cabling System construction shall be agreed with and approved by Signamax Connectivity Systems prior to the installation.

23 DOCUMENTATION AND ADMINISTRATION

24 Registration Documentation Registration documentation of the Signamax Cabling System shall be executed by the forms developed by Signamax Connectivity Systems and in accordance with the requirements of the “CABLING SYSTEM REGISTRATION” section of the Manual. It is important to have the registration documents executed correctly and precisely. The warranty shall not cover the cabling system links for which the registration documents are either unavailable or executed in breach of rules or contain errors.

25 Installation Audit Signamax Connectivity Systems reserves the right to inspect Signamax Cabling System installed at the customer’s premises. If any gross infringements of the design, installation and administration principles of Signamax Cabling System are detected, the warranty for the cabling system may be terminated.

26 REGISTRATION DOCUMENTS EXECUTION

27 Documentation Templates The registration documents for the Signamax Cabling System shall be executed by the templates developed by Signamax Connectivity Systems. The document templates are sets of files in MS Word format to be completed with the relevant data preserving the format and appearance of such templates. The set of registration documents templates shall be common for any warranty types, but depending on the warranty type, a certain number of registration forms shall be completed.

30 Documentation Templates To register the cabling system for the Base Trunk Warranty one shall complete: –Signamax Cabling System Registration Application (Warranty Registration Form #2) –Signamax Cabling System sample link description (Warranty Registration Forms ##3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, 3e) –Signamax Cabling System floor/campus plans –Signamax Cabling System test results –Signamax System Customer Satisfaction Report (Warranty Registration Form #7 – completed by End User)

31 Documents Submission Any registration documents for the Signamax Cabling System shall be submitted on paper and electronic media. All sheets of registration forms shall have a personal signature affixed by the Signamax Certified Installer having a valid Signamax certificate. Completed registration documents in electronic form and the results of certification testing (if applicable) shall be recorded on 2 standard compact disks. The information on disks shall be error-free.

32 Documents Submission The registration documents, printed out and completed, and the disks shall be transferred to the Signamax Connectivity Systems office at the address: Attn. Warranty Administrator Signamax Connectivity Systems 16295 N.W. 13th Avenue, Suite A Miami, FL 33169-5709, U.S.A.

33 Test Results The results of certification testing of the Signamax Cabling System are required for the execution of the Signamax Cabling System Warranty and Signamax Base Trunk Warranty. Certification testing of the Signamax Cabling System Base Trunk shall be performed in compliance with the requirements of section “CABLING SYSTEM TESTING” of the Manual.

34 Test Results The certification test results shall be submitted in the form of electronic files of standard formats (databases) stipulated by the test equipment manufacturers. The files converted in text formats (.txt,.csv) or any other software formats, other than that standard for the test equipment, shall not be considered.

35 Test Results For the optical links the certification test results may be presented in the form of a completed table containing measurement results, in the event that the optical tester has no memory and storage options for the measurement result in the electronic file form. In this case an additional form can be completed for all optical links of the cabling system (Warranty Registration Form #6 OPTICAL FIBER LINK TEST RESULTS), with the results of insertion loss measurement and optical length entered from the instrument screen for each link.

36 RECOMMENDED REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

37 Registration Procedure The registration of the cabling systems is to be carried out in 3 stages, according to Signamax Connectivity Systems recommendation: 1.Verification of the certification test results 2.Verification of the electronic version of the registration documentation 3.Verification of the final version of the registration documentation
