Consider the actions and behaviors demonstrated throughout the entire year Excessive Strictness/Lenience: avoid rating all direct reports as high or low Damaging morale/relationships: avoid feedback that’s overly negative and not delivered with respect; lack of respect can destroy trust and result in defensive behavior
