3 Earth is the 3rd planet from the sun. The Earth was formed around 4.54 billion years ago.Earth is not named after a god. The other seven planets in our solar system are all named after Roman gods or goddesses. Only Mercury, Venuns Mars, Jupiter and Saturn were named during ancient times. Because they were visible to the naked eye., the Roman named planets after god or goddesses. sun.

4 The sun is a star in the centre of the solar system. It is responsible for our climate and weather. It is sphere [almost] made of hot plasma. It is the most important source of energy for nature.

9 It is the sixth planet from the Sun. It is the most distant that can be seen with the naked eye. It is best known for its fabulous ring system. That was discovered in 1610 by the astronomer Galileo Galilei.
